The birth of a new blog

This is the first of what I hope to be many posts documenting our travels away from home, or adventures in and around San Francisco. Whatever is the opposite of homebody, that is what we are as a family. This is evidenced by the fact that Finn is 20 months old and next week will be embarking on his 10th roundtrip flight. His roadtrip count tops out at 5, with more if you count overnight visits to Grandma and Grandpa McMillan's house and day trips around the area.

We expect there to be a steep decline in our journeys afar, as Finn will very soon be a paying passenger. When there is a lull in our adventuring, I may post about trips we've taken in the past, or at least link to archived adventure/ food posts on our family blog.

Maybe you'll get ideas for your own trips, things to do while there and things to eat! Or maybe you'll want to come visit our awesome neck of the woods. Maybe neither and this will just be a continuation of the travel journal I started when I was 10.
